Area Activities - First Week of November

Okay folks, I need your help this week!  What do you know about that is going on in the area this weekend?  I have a short list below, but I need your help!  Post your activity in the comments section below.

What I know about: 

Friday & Saturday - Kokomo Event Center’s Fall Two-Day Community Sale (9am - 6pm)

Where: Kokomo Event Center, 1500 N. Reed Road (U.S. 31) Kokomo, 46901

What: Over 50 booths filled with a variety of items, clothing for all ages, furniture, tools, antiques, collectables, handmade jewelry, candles, books, new items, crafts, purses and more!

Admission: $1.00, kids 12 and under free. Free Popcorn at the door.

Friday & Saturday - Downtown Art Association (237 W. 3rd Street)

Artist Galleries every Fri & Sat evenings.  I haven't checked this place out, but have been meaning to as it looks really cool (I'll have a post about it later this week).  I think it has potential for a great date or a night out with a girlfriend - go and check out local artists' work on display, then end the evening at the Potter's House for a scoop of ice cream & cup of coffee! 

SATURDAY – Nov 6

Christmas in November Bazaar - 9am – 3pm

Grant County Fairgrounds – Free admission & parking

Homeade crafts & foods, home-based businesses, pictures with Santa from 10am – 2pm for a small fee.

Christmas Bazaar – Gesthemane Episcopal Church – 8am – 5pm

9^th & Washington Streets

Crafts, homemade items, cookies, cakes, nut breads, candies, pies, etc. 

Bazaar –Sunnycrest United Methodist Church – 8:30am – 2pm

Crafts, gifts, baked goods, etc. – proceeds support church’s mission projects

18^th Annual Indiana University Kokomo Arts & Crafts Show – 9am

SUNDAY – Nov 7

Christmas Open House at the Hostess House.  Brunch 11am - 3pm ($10 adults, $6.95 children).  Peggy's Gift Shop in the upstairs featuring their new Christmas items.
