This Saturday, April 7th is the annual Easter egg hunt in Marion sponsored by New Life Church (in conjunction with other churches & organizations in the area). The event is held at Marion High School, and starts at 10am (but you should be there by 9 or 9:30 at the latest). They have a bunch of giveaways (bikes, prizes, etc.) and then commence with a massive egg hunt on the high school football field. It is a little crazy with people, but fun too. My kids & nephews had a blast last year. Make sure to wear good walking shoes for wearing on the football field & bring a bag or a basket for your kid to collect their eggs. Happy hunting!
